How does MedTec Match me with a home care aide?

Our schedulers will work with you to find a home care aide suited for your specific needs. Afterwards, the scheduler will work with both the client and home care aide to establish a regular, weekly schedule. If your home care aide is scheduled to visit but has not shown up, please call our main office at (847)-470-4701.

How do I recieve in-home care?

Adult Day Service

How do I join one of your adult day service centers?

What kind of food is served at your adult day service centers?

We offer a variety of different food options to accomodate all dietary needs. All of our menu items are put together by our dietician to ensure that your loved one is receiving a well balanced meal.

Payment Options

Am I eligible for the Community Care Program?

You may be eligible if you: - Are 60 years old or older - Are a U.S. citizen or legal aliens - Are a resident of Illinois - Have non-exempt assets of $17,500 or less (your home, car, or personal furnishings are classified as exempt assets) - Have an assessed need for long term care (to be at risk for nursing facility placement as measured by the Determination of Need (DON) assessment) For more in-depth information from the Illinois state government please call us directly at (847)-470-4701.

How can I pay for your services?

We accept coverage through private insurers, medicaid programs, and private pay. Please visit our payment options page here to learn more. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our office at (847)-470-4701 and our customer service team will be happy to assist you

What is the Community Care Program?

The Illinois Department on Aging’s Community Care Program (CCP) helps senior citizens (aged 60+), who might otherwise need nursing home care, to remain in their own homes by providing in-home and community-based services.

What if I do not have any benefits to contribute to my care?

MedTec Healthcare works with clients and families to help accommodate their needs. If services are not covered through private insurance or Medicaid, sometimes private pay is necessary. Please call (847)-470-4701 and our customer service team will be happy to walk you through your options.

Do you accept Medicaid waiver programs?

We accept some Medicaid programs to cover our services. Our customer service team can work directly with you and your family to determine the programs that may be available in your area.
