CAREGIVER PERFORMANCE - EVALUATION CRITERIA
We strive to provide the best possible care for our clients. Below are the traits we expect our caregivers to excel in.
CATEGORY 1:
THE BEST CARE FOR OUR CLIENTS
Is Dependable and Timely
Shows up on time for scheduled shifts
Takes great care of the client according to the Plan of Care
Meets the needs of the client according to the client’s care plan as described by the scheduler
Maintains a strong client relationship
Treats the client with kindness and respect. Both the client and caregiver enjoy their time together.
Communicates with the client & office effectively
Contacts the MedTec office & client when late or missing a shift. Updates the MedTec office when there is a change in the client condition (hospitalization, improvement / decline in health, death)
CATEGORY 2:
EMPLOYEE PROFESSIONALISM
Uses required timekeeping software
Consistently clocks in and out and records tasks performed using the mobile app
Completes all compliance documentation in a timely manner
Caregivers will occasionally receive requests to complete paperwork to stay compliant with Illinois laws. Please complete these on time to keep serving your clients.
Completes required caregiver training
Caregivers are required by the Illinois Department of Aging to complete 12 hours of training per year.
Professional behavior
As a company we strive to treat each other with respect and professional behavior. That includes interactions with other caregivers, customer service, schedulers and other office staff.
