Installing Alayacare App (PA)


Senior Helpers uses the AlayaCare app for scheduling and timekeeping.


Medicaid requires all Senior Helpers' caregivers to accurately record their clock-in and clock-out times, along with their location, using the app. This is a mandatory requirement for all homemakers.

Please follow the steps below to clock in and out at the end of your shifts.

Step 1: Downloading Alayacare

If you use the SH App: If you have the SH App installed, please look for the Alayacare app. Skip to the next step "Step 2: Entering server information".


If you do not have Encappture, please find instructions below for installing Alayacare:


Step 1a: Open "App Store" or Google Play Store



Step 1b: Click the search bar and type “Alayacare” 



Step 1c: Click "Install" button





Step 1d: Click "Open" button







Step 2: Entering Server Information

Enter the company server name: AltocareAtHome.alayacare.com





Step 3: Configure settings

Allow your device's location

Medicaid requires caregivers to track their location when clocking in / out in order to make sure that caregivers are properly serving their clients.


When the app asks whether it can track location, please click While Using the app




Either "Enable Biometrics" (to login with your FaceID or fingerprint) or click "Maybe Later" if you'd rather type in your password




Step 4: Log in

Enter your email address and password to login

Password is Secret123!
