WHY EVV MATTERS

EVV or “electronic visit verification” is required by Medicaid to confirm services are provided at the correct time and location. Using it consistently protects you, supports your clients, and keeps our agency strong and compliant.

What if I don’t have an internet connection?

My AlayaCare Password isn't working?

Call CS Team to reset your password.

What if I forget to clock in/out?

Contact your scheduler as soon as possible. Set a timer for yourself in the future so you don't forget.

What if I’m running late to my shift?

Only clock in when you arrive to your client’s home. Contact your scheduler ASAP for time adjustments.

Why is the app not letting me clock in/out?

Call CS Team for AlayaCare troubleshooting.

What if I need to leave early?

Contact your scheduler as soon as possible to adjust your schedule.

How do I turn on my location?

Enable location services on your device. See “Helpful Links” for more info.

I don’t have internet on my mobile device.

Alayacare Offline Mode allows field workers to use the mobile app when they do not have access to internet. It must be enabled and configured at the system level for field workers to use it.

I don't have a smartphone.

If you don’t have a smartphone, you can still use the AlayaCare app to record your shifts. You can use an iPad or tablet or place a call from your client’s phone using our IVR/telephony system.

How do I enable location services?

To ensure your clock-ins are counted as accurate, make sure location services are enabled on your device when using the AlayaCare app.

Your location allows the system to verify that you are within the client’s home area when you start and end your shift.
